Do we have a server "schedule"?
« on: December 14, 2004, 02:47:29 pm »
Hey all of you "in the know"
As the topic says, well asks I guess.
I know DH has planned for his WCH and other thingy hell to go up to around Xmas
and I think SGO is going live in (early Jan?)
I've also heard J'inn is hard at Work ensuring that GW5 will be bigger and better than ever, with real cash prizes he's providing
from this year's haul.
Any otheres on the horizon , in planning? I've got something kinda ready to almost go (except for a few minor details)
and I'm wondering when i should try and fit it in.

How about 2-3 weeks after SGO4 is over?  That should give you enough time to BETA everything (which can be really easy if you use an establish mission pack) and time for the RMs to pimp their HOs.
Who'd thunk that Star-castling was the root of all evil . . .

Beta?
Who needs to beta anyhting.
They're called "features"
Planning on using a stable mission pack (just cuz I'm really to lazy to set up something new)

But OK, I'm estimating that puts it in early-mid Feb.
Should give me lots of time to change my mind and mess stuff up.

Anyone have a pristine copy of the OP3.4 SL btw?

Just the shiplist?
.. hrm. Let's see. How about on your own HD, in the SFC installed dir, under OPPLUS/ ? The files are installed there first, and then copied over to their final resting place, leaving that behind as a backup.

GW5 will be called . . .  Chuut v. Scippy - The Gorn T-Bomb Wars.

Monster would be GW6.

I'm making changes to make the grand finale really grand.

As in all   Yes, Karnak, ISC too,  races.

I'm placing DH in change of handling it all.

Any chance of those special pfs with 10 T-Bombs and 5 transporters being included?

considering the AI's penchant for T-bombing, those will be VERY interesting

No time for half-measures.  We need the return of the G-AWS.  T-bombs.  Tractors.  Transporters!
