so what are some of your favorite's?

Civ III, the Fallout series, good old X-Com, and Halo on the X-Box when my boys and I get in a twitch game mood.

Lately I've been playing Rome: Total War which is quite excellent.

Oh yeah, and those SFC games.  ;D

Games come and go, but I've kept those listed above on the HD for quite some time.

Fallout 1/2 definitly. Tactics less so, but still fun.  Ace Combat series definitly but especially 4 and 5.  (Both for PS2 and readily available).  Resident Evil, Homeworld series, oh man, I'll keep dropping in as I think of them!

Heh, I'll spam the Combat Mission series again.
The best tactical WW2 sims so far. If you played steel panthers series, or the superb mod matrix did, this is it with 3d and better ai.
Unfortunaltely it is hard to find in North America, if you are lucky you can find it in a future shop or best buy. Otherwise it is mail order or a freind in Europe.

latest aquisition was Neverwinter nights, and swallowed my free time for the week.

Also finally got Return to Krondor to run, several years after I had purchaced the game.

Between that and a certain set of trek games that everyone here clearly knows, i'd say that's all i'm playing these days.

Since i'm just starting to mooch about online with NWN, does anyone else play?

I'm like Neverwinter Nights, Battlefield Vietnam, and Halo.  I'm playing Half-Life 2 but I only bought it because Valve is adding multi-player to the game.  I must say that once I resigned myself that Half-Life 2 in single player is more about telling a story than playing a game I have enjoyed it more.

Pulls out the Atari 800, plugs in the dual Happy drives..plays a quick game of M.U.L.E. against the wife, son, and daughter-in-law, wins handily even tho' forced to hold my granddaughter  :D ...

Then takes Lizabeth on a tour of Alternate Reality, the Dungeon...

I still play a few of those games...wish they'd convert them for the PC..and continue AR

SFC
Ragnarock

not much else, since I'm building a new guitar, and that takes a lot of my time..

My favorites are MGS, Onimusha (I have all three but haven't had the chance to play the third one yet), Legacy of Kain, and ICO.  If you have a PS2 and haven't played Ico I would suggest giving it a try.  That is if you can find a copy.  (You aren't getting mine!)

I have played Ico but got stuck and gave up.

Onimusha 3 is much better than 2. Although I don't like playing Jacques. He's just stupid.

MGS was great, MGS2 would have been great if it weren't for Raiden, MGS3 would also be great if Otocon were in it!
