Gimme max any day... granted it is powerfull and cheap... Their ARE FAR too many hotkeys and the interface sucks... but saying that.... had I learnt on LW and not Max I would probably be saying the same thing about max...  :P

Apparently all we need LW for in (Nexus is hardpointing and engines... the rest can be done in max) WOOOOOOT  :D

Hmmmm.... I wouldnt say that..... The program is fantastic... their is no doubting it.... In my opinion its just not as good as max... but that can be reflected in the huge price difference  ;)

Ive spent just over a year learning max and now I know it pretty well... cant teach an old dog new tricks... or in this case... the dog doesnt like the trick in question and will stick to juggling ;D

Lightwave is all around better than max, easier interface and not as many annoying menus.
I hate my max my self though so i suppose im biased , it sux. :p

Yeah, I prefer max myself...have LW Discovery Edition, Maya PLE, Cinema4D Vue D'ESPRIT 4, and a few others. ;D For those of you able to get it, Computer Arts Magazine is great...always has cd's with proggys on it. ;D
