Yip, that's right - all 600+ Megs of SFC sweetness will be available right here! Don't thank D.Net, thank CUGS with your patronage to support their work as well as ALL the modders in the SFC Community! The only way they know it's appreciated is when it's being downloaded and played! (an ocassional IM or email to someone who you think did a really good job is good too !!)
We're also pleased to state - just to make sure there's not any confusion - that we've raised the issue to CUGS regarding our community and the likes of "pay to play", and they've taken every opportunity to re-assure myself and those that were present for the meeting we had that this, quite simply, isn't true. CUGS stated they are just as committed as D.Net to maintaining accountability and responsibility in our community, and - true believers - it was for THIS reason that DIFJosh and Chris Jones contacted us - to make sure they were not misunderstood.
So, I'd say let's give CUGS a big round of applause for offering the UAW mod for the community for FREE - and let's all support the MODDERS, SCRIPTERS, SQL GURUS, CAMPAIGN DESIGNERS, RACE MODERATORS, and most importantly the PLAYERS for our love of this game.
It's the reason we all do what we do do...errrr
ahem....
