I'm tired of having to ask to fly anything good, even though I might log on to play maybe 10 times.  My preference is for option 3, but I'm curious to see if I'm right as to where the community is heading.  I'm afraid my time here may be growing short :(

I like the ability to fly what i can afford. It gives me a sense of accomplishment. And give me more diversity during play.
But i do realise that this not allways practical. or realistic. :)

Well I think (and I could be wrong) that SGwhatever is going for a "fly what you can afford" situation.
Should be interesting to see what the reaction is after flying so many oob servers.

Of course Dizzy was wuss enoguh to keep traditional alliances, and I'm going to be seeing Red rather than the soothing gold I like,
but it will still be nice to fly a Lyran BCHT again.
(and for the record-this time 762 gets it, I'm finally going to kill him)

   I  went with no.3 as long as the prices are Right as Playing on GW4 I got a taste of what it is like and there were many times I wanted to buy a ship that I wanted but couldn't due to the OOB rules.

GW4 was an over-ruled pain in the ass.  It also was the most balanced, fairest, closest-matched, server that everyone enjoyed.

I like the combination of a different variety of types of server, but my favourite choice has to be 3.

 Wich one do you guys think is easyer , for new people to play? Allot of complicated rules, can and does, scare allot of potental new players away.

Ditto on both counts. GW4 was a blast too though. Had tons of fun on AOTK and IDSL as well.

AOTK was fun and thanks form bringing that up.   Does anyone else besides me remember PvP being more fun before PvP VCs?

AOTK was the first server I ever played on.  Would be nice to have ROTK (Return of the Kitties) now that I know what I'm doing ;)

Here's probably a wildly unpopular thought, but it just popped in my head.   Have everything worth about 1pp.   That way you can get what you want but people might actually feel like they could do the bidding thing, since you will always have the PP for anything you want (as long as you can outbid the other guy), and of course to keep everyone from being in the same ship, you would have to make it so very few ships showed up in the yards, so that it would be a fight for anything above what you are given (I know there are problems, but the idea just hit me so...  :P)  And another thought would be, I wonder if the server could handle a hot bidding war? lol.
