NAME THAT SHIP!

Unknown Warrior is just about ready to release his PAS (Planetary Assault Ship), but he'd like to hold a contest and let the community designate a ship class and more importantly, a name and number for the registry. We'll run the contest for a week and then a winner will be selected. Once that is done I'll get the registry on the ship and get it up for download. Let the creative juices flow and let's name this ship..............





This will also be one of the last ships we will be releasing for a while because we have run out of space on our server. We're looking for a new host that won't break the bank, but before we settle on one we thought we would ask if anyone would like to put up their own site once we get our new space. We might not be able to host a lot of stuff for free, but we can probably work out something fairly cheap and the site might not necessarily have to be all about SFC. Contact me or Kreeargh for more info and any questions you might have.

USS Savage ncc 15550 Savage class, USS Tarzan, USS Captain Scarlet, USS Mongol, USS Diamond Back, USS Donut, USS Black Sheep. hope one of this name will do  :D

Overlord Class, U.S.S. Juno, U.S.S. Sword etc for the other beaches - seems appropriate with the Assault theme ;)

ship class :  Montezuma

ship name:  USS Iwojema ...  USS Normandy ...  

these have a historical value and connotations that are undeniable


BTW...   excellent ship too !!

It seems fitting that a Planetary Assualt ship would be named after the American Civil War General Sherman who scourched the earth as he marched to Atlanta and then to the sea.

Since it has the look of an assault-type ship, how about the U.S.S. Lewis B. Puller, 'Chesty' Puller's real name?
