Kthyla's roms, as you know, have recently been ported. I am trying to figure out what the calsses are, so if anyone can help with comparison pix as to what thse are that'd be great, and a connie, excelcior, and miranda for reference would help too.

yea...for sfc3 I believe. I'm currently trying to get them sorted for bridge commander as each zip contines extra textures that aint needed. All the ginsu materials were left in there..ect.

KA personel, front and centre! (Oh wait, that'd be me!)

Looks like it's just the two in the pack: the Vastagor Ocalla (red & green feathers) are CA's like the Constitution, and the Vas'Hatham (BoP, orange & blue) are DD's, like the Akula. These are TMP classifications, mind you, and would likely wind up lower on the list on the TNG scale.

Hopefully this'll save you a bit of time: any pcx with 'ginsu' in the name (hginsu01.pcx, uginsu01.pcx, etc.) are all damage transparencies and lilkely won't be needed. The following are also individual ginsu-related:

Fheavy3.bmp
glighta2.bmp
hcoridor.bmp
hgnsudek.bmp

The remaining pcx's should be lighmaps, although I'm not sure if Manitoba converted those files or made new ones.

I must say, Mani did a good job portin' them birds!

i converted them to bmp format. i havent gotton to reducing the unneeded bmps from the files yet as i wanted to make sure they were correct first and done correctly.

alot of texture duplications too. I currently most of the duplicates remvoed, so are to far apart ont he texture list to instance on one antoher as I can't drag and scroll at the same time. Anyways, I have 4 ships actualy,

Now, about how big are these compared to a connie?

The CA's (Tagor) are 194m long, 240m wingspan.
The DD's (Hathos) are 120m long, 185m wingspan.

Against a 305m Connie Refit:

The CA's length would be 63.6% of the Connie's length,
&
The DD's length would be 39.3% of the Connie's length.

kf, if u get online on msn I can give u the files. though I've removed all the hardpoints and as many duplicate textures as possible along with all the .x files and stuff, ofcurse mani did them for sfc3 and I think everything needs to be redone anyways? anyways, let me know.
