Man I love this ship and I'm using the original as my FDX until the replacement model comes online.

This is a good second version of the Akyazi Perimeter Action Ship Akula subclass. The only thing I wish that could be fixed on this version is to have the saucer notch slightly wider as in the original model by P81.

Kudos to P81 for making TWO of these fine ships and at least one version of the other PAS variants!

Now what is the exact problem with the light maps?
A. the ship doesn't have them mapped to it
B. The light maps have not been made
C. Something else (please state)

A.That's it. The ship never had them before
B. I made them,though I don't know how good they are since it's my fisrt attemp.

About the USS Sjoto:

The USS Sjoto was the 9th planned Akula subclass of the Akyazi Perimeter Action Ships. Its keel was laid on Stardate 7697.83 at Axaanivus Celesco Starcraft construction facilities locted on the Bedi Plains of Alpha Centauri V. The USS Sjoto was completed and underwent its shakedown cruise on Stardate 7739.24 and was commissioned shortly thereafter. The Sjoto served with distinction as part of Perimeter Action Group 24 with her sister ships Astura NCC 1011, Ephesus NCC 1023, and Apia NCC 1098. PA Group 24 was assigned to Fleet Two South and their headquarters was Star Station Tiran.

I still play SFC1 and one of my favorite skirmish missions is Surprise Reversed 2. I have it so that this ship shows up as the F-DW or DWD. Win or lose, this ship just looks awesome and terrific flying around in game and in screenshots.

It is an excellent design... (how pleasing to the eye it is)!

The scaling problem seems to have been resolved, I changed the Model size file from the GAW one to a SFBOP one I found and now the ship is the size it should be.

I always did dig these ships ever since I bought the book. Very nice models!

As a side note, many moons ago, Atticbat made a custom texture job for me on P81's Akyazi model to make it the Arbiter class ship USS Talence, with the cool "Starburst" deflector grid...

...I had always hoped that someone would make an accurate Arbiter model, with the "lulus" Protective Envelope generator between the struts, and the two rear-firing photons. But this Talence model has served me well.
