I think a few of you might remember him, He was the Nice guy who was a Truck Driver, Injured his back , and lost his job last August.  He was also trying to pay off his Mothers Debts, His mother is Know in the Hospital, and He will be loosing her home at the end of this month.

I've managed to stay in contact with him over the last few Months Via Phone, and He's trying to keep busy, while looking for work. anyway, He has some Version of Studio Max, and asked me to find the R4 Plug in along with the Max 4.2 Patch. Can some one send me a link . so I can get him a cd In the mail?

Also, IF worse comes to worse, I'll Drive up to Witchita and get him, and Let him stay here In my spare room untill he can get on his feet.

Of course this is a last resort.

Thanks Guys,

Stephen

I hope he's OK. These kind of stories make me very angry! Why in America do we allow these things to happen?

OK there must be a STATE agency that assists elderly or incapacitated adults that can step in to STOP this. In the STATE of New Hampshire, I work for the Bureau of Elderly and Adult services. The first thing I'd do is call Legal Assistance to try to get them involved to stop the loss of the home. Second, I'd be looking at the FEDERAL family caregiver supplemental services grant to get $1,000.00 to assist with any kind of payment arrangement that could be worked out with legal aide. Since this might end up being a potential adult protective services investigation FEDERAL Title XX money under the CHORE and EMERGENCY SUPPORT program could possibly be authorized to assist with another $500.00 each. This assumes the STATE has an equivelant agency to the Bureau I work for and assumes she meets her state's criteria for accessing these resources. A phone call to whatever STATE agency handles elderly affairs just might be able to help.

Additionally agencies like the United Way, St. Vincent Depaul [sp?] might also be able to come up with some money if the goal is to have her stay at home [and avoid nursing home placement].

Also if she is at a hospital that takes FEDERAL money she may be eligible for a medical debt forgiveness or reduction program. Its worth checking out at the hospital social work department.

All of this would require filling out some papers but its better than losing a home. I just hope he gets this information soon enough to help.

Qapla!

People always said they wanted the government to listen to them and now the government is listening, taking notes and names...and coming to see you soon!

Remember the axiom of big government bureaucrats: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. When, finally, under the crushing weight of taxes and regulation, it stops moving, subsidize it.
