in every re-texture project when you just can't stand to mess with it anymore. This is that time.

P81's GCX prototype in STOCK Textures! Why didn't I think of that!?

Nice! More for my Klingon Academy/SFC style Gorn fleet...

Thank you Rogue.

It was you who made me think of it. The stock meshes for the Gorn have that distorted texture application that's hard to work with. I needed one more model to cover that transition design between the early SFB geometry and the advanced era. P81's prototype is likable enough so it made sense. It now serves as the G-CMX for me. Gee, all that for one specification... That's OK. I find the process to be pretty relaxing.

Thanks Dizzy. It's worth doing and I enjoy doing these modest projects.

I've just added this Gorn retexture to the page for anyone who would like to use it. You wouldn't know it to look at it but it takes a lot of time to rearrange the textures on a model like this.

Again with the webpage.

Rogue that is GREAT workmanship there.

I am nearly finished retexturing all the Gorn ships I have done previously since I have become inspired by your retextures.  No reason the Gorn can't have different looking squadrons like every other race in the SFC universe in my mind. ;)

Well done sir and thank you for sharing these with us.

Thanks guys. I'm feeling all humble and stuff. If a few of you can find a little Gorn goodness out of the effort then I am the happier for it. Had it not been for Klingon Fanatic's Gorn retextures I doubt if I would have thought to try it. Creative feedback is a fun thing, don't you think?.

Just so you know... I consider these to be the G'Dhar's sister ships as first generation X cruisers. I'm hoping KF is well into that GCL by now as I have a place reserved for it to complete the set.
