192.168.2.1

Try that to get to your router settings.

I believe it would actually be 192.168.1.1

However, you can verify by going to the "Start Menu" then "Run", type "cmd" to get a DOS window, at the prompt type "ipconfig" if running WINXP or "winipcfg" if running WIN98. This will list your network settings. What is your IP addy? Take the first 3 parts of it and change the last to a 1 for getting the addy to the router config. Thus if your IP addy is 192.168.2.100 type 192.168.1.1 in your browser, if it is 192.168.1.101, type 192.168.1.1 in your browser. The default password for the linksys is "admin" if you didn't change it, which you should. Just leave the "userid" field blank.

Hello

I have the same symptoms that Jinn had.... no drafting at all.  Everything else works relatively correctly.

I complied with the directions above.  I got my IP address from DOS.  When I type it into my browser, I get an "cannot find server, the page connot be displayed" screen.  I havent been able to find anything that looks like Kroma's "Linksys port range forwarding" menu, posted above.  I am connected to the Internet via a cable modem.

I there another step that I can take?  My CC+ is getting lonely out there.

Thank you in advance

Villa, if you do not have a router, then you will not find a port range forwarding menu.

Jackle, allow pings.  ("Enable WAN requests") RTFM,RTFM,RTFM,RTFM!!!! AAACCCKKK!
e.g.: http://www.linksys.com/download/

I think we need a permanent router sticky - we have explained all of this hundreds of times by now.

Are your search fingers busted people? How do you think we figured it out? Myself, I read my frickin manual!

If you are running any software firewalls, KILL THEM COMPLETELY.

Thank you for the help.

Disabled the firewall and was able to be drafted

A patient player named dennycrane walked me through the draft process to troubleshoot.

Thank you again for all your help.

Hey Jakle, did you reset the router. If you did then the stuff Bonk just mentioned above should be enabled by default, but it doesn't hurt to check. That is on weird bug though, the fact that reinstalls of the game had been clearing it up in the past and that it occurs with AI only missions leads me to believe it may not be router related.
