Rome: Total War Questions
« on: November 11, 2004, 10:54:56 pm »
The game rocks, but I have a few questions not covered in the docs: :help:

Is there any way to reduce squalor in the cities?  Baths, sewers and aqueducts make health go up, but do they or anything reduce squalor?

Do rebels/bandits pop up for any reason, or is it entirely random?   Any way to proactively stop them by creating forts or something?

Thanks!

BAths and sweers DO reduce squallor in theory, but that don't mean that your city doesn't outgrow them... quickly.

I've never been able to stop rebels from popping up.

Game Totally ROCKS!!!

However anyone know how to set difficulty for Instant Games?

Sometimes I just feel like gettin for a quick random battle without thinkin' too much...

It was definately too easy, but they seemed to increase in difficulty after I set up a "Hard" Custom Game, but I am just not totally sure.

Doesn't seem to be a direct way to change it since you go right into battle after clickin' it...
