How to set up game using forums.
« on: November 10, 2004, 09:39:58 am »
Need 4 sticky Subject Posts:

1.   Fleet Post ,Fleet Name Fleet race and Fleet members: (each fleet make 1 post)
2.   Standings Post: Fleet Name, Win , Loss (Only one post)
3.   Schedule Post: Date Range: TBVP, era, terrain for 3 matches.
Under that match ups (i.e. KHH vs ISC):
                (1 post per week)
4.   Results: Each post would be like ?Week1 KHH vs ISC?  KHH won

To schedule match just make a subject post Schedule - Week 2 - 9th vs TSC.
Post date and time suggestions.

That is all you need.

To start have fleets post Fleet name, race and members in the subject fleet post forum.

;) Looking good all we need now is fleets to sign up and then an rbg to set up the schedule.

I also suggest to open a static thread and post the gzleague rules there along with the PBR rules.

I had Frey give me moderator access so that I can sticky threads (like I did with the PBR thread).

Do we have the ability to set up sub threads like where we had for post battle reports? Maybe better for keeping that info in a "folder" sub thread like that then a whole lot of sticky posts.

For my own clearity each fleet is to make a post subject is the name of the Fleet and the post inside is to contain fleet members and race(s) being played for any given cycle?
