Being in the Infantry myself I am curious as to why you want to know... is it some really cool project???

Anyway....

The DPM we have on our uniforms will differ toward the enviroments where going to be fighting in...

I.e their are desert combats for afghanistan and different ones for iraq... we were green dpm for normall use but a different shade for the jungle... snipers where mad dpm cammo whilst the recce platoon wheres a dark type... artic cammo too... their are a fair few.. Im in the British army and im sure its has to be the same for the rest of the world..  ;)

http://www.worlduniformkeith.com/europe.htm - awsome link shows loads of different dpm styles from around the world ;)

Well, just so you know what im working on, its for a web-comic of mine.

basically its for the fatigues for the marines that are on board the Lexington (see the last thread i made about it).
Here are some of the inspirations for OTHER uniforms being used in the web-comic.

the webcomic is going to be done in 3d.

Now if only i can get someone to model up a good high-res Halo-Esque power armor.

Of course that would assume that i can figure out how the hell they made straight lines!

take a look at their UVMap for a pair of Pants....how could one draw a straight line with this thing?

Here is the new camo that the U.S. Army starts fielding in the next year or so...
