I really have nothing good (and original) to say... You've heard all the praises, and I believe I've ran out of any good ones to appreciate this latest work of yours.  This will work very well in the TOS-era.

Excellent work.

At last! The WZ take on a true classic. Now the original triumvirate is complete: The Enterprise, Klingon D7 and the Romulan Warbird are all here!

Thank you very much, WZ! Today is a good day to...play SFC!

Nice birdy nice birdy

 - Textures are real sweet, I like the way the panelling on the top follows the bridge instead of going under it, and also the windows arnt super lit-up, but rather darkish - looks more realistic. Those little things really add to the overall uknow. Great Details, real nice work WZ.

Great and prefect timing as well, I was looking for one of those this morning!

Now I just have to hope NightSoft is up :(

God damnit!!! >:( F-ing Nightsoft is down again >:( >:(

I was really looking forward to downloading and blowing this ship up in OP. Oh well, the positive - it looks fantastic in the pics, I much prefer the plasma launcher on this one to the one on the TMP version you did a while back - a weapon that powerful needs some serious support and the entire ship is meant to be built around the plasma-R. Also I kinda like the cut-out fin you added to the back, a bit more stylish than the standard version. I'm sure the textures are sweet as LS says, the gifs you make for the beauty shots never do your textures justice as the format removes a whole hunk of detail.

Great job, but I don't think the orignial BoP had these proportions. After extensively looking over screenshots and fiddling around in ModViewer, Desty Nova's BoP model actually has correct proportions, which has a fatter and longer main hull and smaller, more forward sweeping wings. (Belive me, I didn't belive it either, untill an a hour of research later.)

That's not to say this isn't an alternate class though, or a CL version. It's still a fantastic piece of model work, and a neat complement to the TMP Interplay BoP rework Atra's released recently.

Are you planning on building any of the SFB ships like the SeaHawk or the SkyHawk? I really don't care about the SFB "New" Rommie cruisers though, they just suck. :P Though I'm sure you could make any of them look good...

This is for sure a Fleet Command type of Warhawk, intended to lead a flock of it's smaller warhawk kin on through to absolute glorious victory for the Romulan Praetor.

This was never intended to be a duplication of the original BoP. The subtle detail changes and wings reflect that. I personally prefer the broader wingspan on Romulan ships and felt the Roms could use a bird more on-par with their Klingon and Federation counterparts.

Actually it's more of a compliment to my TMP Interplay BoP rework, though it's in need of an update. Of course that's a totally unbiased, un-egotistical viewpoint. 8) There's nothing wrong with Atra's but I am naturally going to have a preference for my own ships.

In regard to the other SFB Romulans, I doubt I'll mess with them as most SFB/FASA designs never caught my eye - some are downright ugly. Besides, I tend to leave the SFB/TOS stuff to the experts.

Okay then, though I only mentioned Atra's rework because I was going to use it along with your new BoP as a CL/CL+. :p

I still think that someone should kitbash those new BoP engines onto Desty's SeaHawk, and give it a new head section. Right now it looks too Klingon to me, but I think it's supposed to be a cheaply built ship anyway, so meh. Though the V-33 would be a great addition to the fleet...

Can't wait to see your next work. Another Rom, perhaps?

I know you're not big on requests WZ sir, but after watching you end the curse of the Melak Warbird I just have to ask. Would you consider doing this ship ?

I know alot of people think it's one ugly ship, but it would be awesome to have her in game. And the mere fact that it's a complicated design, and has never been attempted ( that I know of) just adds to it's charm. I think it's "fugliness" is what makes it so appealing to me. Thanks for the consideration. It never hurts to ask.

I had to make one more post here- This model is really great in the game, has real "presence". She literally sails thru space with that big wing span and eagle graphic, if you go to the stationary view then put her in a turn away from the camera view at high speed, you'll see what I mean - really really cool and graceful model.
