This might be the best overall (looks and playability) Connie yet, IMO. Only 2900+ polies on LOD-1 and it has 3-LODs.

Ummm... Any possibility of getting 1701A regs for it, please? I think that it's good enough to deserve the "difinitive" registry.

I can whip up the Reg but the deflector............I'de rather leave that to one of the pros.I'm not that good yet

If you change the registry you will also have to change out the fca1i light map. I got lazy and instead of looking for the blank one to do it on I used the one with the registry on it. That will ghost itself up at angles when the ship moves if it is not replaced. As for the deflector that is easy to replace it is a simple cut and paste job. just cut half a deflector from another model and outline the area you want to paste it into Ctrl+Shift+L and it pastes inside that area.

don't want this one disappearing quite so soon.

It is actually a departure from the normal colours I use, and is more towards the movie version of the ship for the textures appearence.

Here is the side veiw so you know more about the retexture job on it. The deflector is of coarse not the standard one from the Motion picture but that can be change for those that want the enterprise as well as the registry.

I borrowed the Deflector and and symbol on the side from Khalibans FCA, since this one copys the patterns anyways, and now it is a StarFleet Vessel.

Its beautiful, looks like it has way more polies than it actually has due to that lovely skin.

Im trying to get a Constellation fixed up with that style of textures...suffice to say im not doing very well lol.

It was the last of them I had planned, I wanted a low poly version of Khalibans for a long time because I could use more of them in the game then his high poly one. It would also fit the rest of my fleet as well, except for the colours but I can live with that. I actually only have two Federation ships yet to do period, and they are almost done, and I was done with them anyways.

But No I am not tired of that ship, just not planning on releasing anything else I have done to them or other Feds.

Time to move on to other races, and learn how to make textures for them as well.

I also have it in lt. Blue and Grey but they are not available for download currently. (They also have a fix that I noticed was off)

Well changed my mind.

I decided to complete this models textures, so that it will be a fully functional ship. It has all three LODs and I fixed the texture errors I had on the other version. The area below the deflector I reversed one of the imagies, this has been fixed. I have given it a nice light blue colour as well. I also fixed the deflector by giving it an area around it to more match the movie model. I made the saucer light maps generic as well now. I also added the thrusters on the sides of the saucer and added their light maps as well. Changed the area around the shuttle bay as well to more match the other models. This one is named the Constellation NCC - 1017.

Also there are 8 different options for the Impulse top as well.

Guess the real question would be are there any particular registries that are needed, as they have to be fit to the model to cover all areas.

I have the Lexington at 1709, so I think that number is out. The Exeter I have on hand it was pre made in the registry packs i did so I can easily add that one.

Well there are the 5 that are in a releasible state. Wish there was a way to track how many downloads this gets. I would also like to see what they look like in game as I don't have SFC 2 EAW or OP installed right now.

WIP update!

only have the Machine areas above the hangers still to do as well as the lower aft area. Once those areas are textured up then all that is left is the Registries.

The Connies are done 5 of them infact. The Miranda is also done only 2 of those I already sent them to some one to put on-line for me while I am gone travelling.
