Star Wars Trailer
« on: November 05, 2004, 12:03:03 pm »
You can see it currently at

http://movies.guide.real.com/

I copied a direct link but uncertain if it will work for you guys as well

I have to say it was uniquely interesting.  It looks like they have a precursor to the X-wing in it, and some of the battle sequences look like they might be pretty cool.  I am wondering who the fanged guy with the lined white face is.  Interesting.

Looks cool so far, but so did ep. II until I actually saw it.  Sure have waited long enough for it.

But tell me, can you heal what father's done?
Or fix this hole in a mother's son?
Can you heal the broken worlds within?
Can you strip away so we may start again?
Tell me, can you heal what father's done?
Or cut this rope and let us run?
Just when all seems fine, and I'm pain free, you jab another pin,
Jab another pin in me

40% of the trailer being rehashed from I, II  and IV, that one single word from Palpatine washes it away...

So long as Lucas does not throw a scene with Palapatine and his trusty lab assistant, Y'gohr, in a lab and Palpatine preening "he's alive, alive, ALIVVVVVE!!!"

Gah, I think I'd have to slash the movie screen and go huntin' me some Lucus out Cali-way....

That's $10 saved as far as I'm concerned.  One look at that spindly wimp in the Vader suit was enough to convince me to stay the hell away from this.

You have to assume that Anakin is still young. With age he will get bigger and stronger physicaly. But yes he was kinda wimpy in the suit.

I kinda wish they would have had a different mask but still similar to the original. With years it would have developed to become the one we love.

As I recall, thats closer to what the EU would have us believe.  Vader was 'created' over time, with one bad thing being fixed with some machinery, then some more, etc.
