SFB R9 Lyrans, Taldren Style
« on: November 05, 2004, 12:30:40 am »
Hello, I just finished these up, so I will share these with you now. I would like to thank Thu11s for his previous Lyran work. Without those models, these could not have turned out so nicely.

Lyran War Dreadnought, 1 built.

The Lyrans were the only ones to design a working conversion from a Destroyer to a Dreadnought. The conversion is basically similar to the War Cruiser's but much heftier. Don't take it lightly however: it *is* a worthy DN. Unfortunately, building this DN could only performed at the same yard as a normal DN's and thus no more DNs could be built with or without DNWs.

Lyran Lioness Heavy Cruiser, 1 built.

This excellent design used the center of a DN with the sides of a DD to form a very capable heavy cruiser. However, while 1 such ship was indeed built, to use this center construction would take away from a DN elsewhere.

I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!
