i like this but you should add some landing strips to the back of the hull in front of the shuttle bays

I think you  should use streached  versions of WZ's X era excelcior for nacelles, the nacelles seem to subtract from the over all look of things. You could, I suppose, make a variant with WZ nacelles under the saucer/drive hull, like the Dauntless,  the fake federation vessel from  voyager which is what the mains ection of this ship reminds  me of. Bunkerhill is an excelent choice for a name too.

The Narcelles are Manitoba's original design. The idea is to have ships of the interum years represented .The model itself is P81's originally. The crayons are mine  :P

Keep the suggestions coming.Great ideas have begin somewhere.

In what way ? Although not present in the WIP she has correct registry now.And plenty of Aztec'ing though ya really can't see it in the WIP. And the landing strip has been added to the rear.

So what else ? Thanks for some great imput everyone,it's much appreciated

I think that the nacelles are too far back. I don't know if it's where the struts attach to the hull or where they attach to the nacelles themselves (or possibly a combo of the two) that needs to be changed.

Did you it like that to kinda emulate the Style of the SFB flatbed in a TNG ship? Just a thought that I had while looking at it. If so then I think that the rear hull might need a bit of redesigning to make it work aesthetically. The scale of the ship is truely massive! :o

Way too big, needs much, much, much, much, much, much smaller windows and scale the bridge down aswell. A nice design but the nacelles really don't match the texture style on the rest of the ship, you might want to have a look at that because all the other parts have a consistent texture style and the nacelles break that up and as a result look stuck on as an afterthought.
If I determine the enemy's disposition of forces while I have no perceptible form, I can concentrate my forces while the enemy is fragmented. The pinnacle of military deployment approaches the formless: if it is formless, then the deepest spy cannot discern it, nor the wise make plans against it.

Like I had stated earlir we have about 9 configurations for the carrier perhaps Mani can post 1 pic of each and everyone can decide. As for carrier size let me just put out some facts and then let the debate begin...........

CVN 65 USS Enterprise
335.64m or 1101 feet
Carriers 80 + fighter aircraft.not including support aircraft.
The average length of these fighters is 62 ft or 18.9m.Height average of 16 ft.

Sovereign Class
680M or 2231 feet
Pereguine Class fighter ( as close to canon as it gets ) 14m or 45.93 feet long.

So i thought to myself, well the Sovie is about 2x as large as a modern carrier. But she's not. If she were to be ,based on the numbers. Her fighter compliment would be near 200 fighters.Obviously the game won't support that number. And based on facts of a modern carrier x2 is not unrealistic. I just thought to support Numbers like this a carrier for Star Trek should be enormous.I based this on Looking at the size of modern carriers versus other ships in the Navy.Obviously the Carrier is the biggest.Though honestly my scale is probably off.I thought a Fed carrier should be at least the size of the Scimitar ( and look how many fighters were on it) And obviously no where even remotely close to it's firepower.Like it or not the Scimitar is canon. Many say uber but canon none the less.In my game, carriers are the biggest, most expensive ship there is to get.Lots of fighters, weapons are primarily defensive.Ofensive weapons are missiles(and not many of those) so it pans out for me at least. But like Mani and I said keep the comments coming and eventually(hopefully) everyone will be happy with our results. Thanks everyone for helping.

I think I know what you were trying to do with the smaller "bridge" on that saucer ... it was suppost to help put things in its proper perspective....

However ... if this is the case ..  ya might want to resize some other things that go with it ..  windows being one ...  also MORE rows of them .. ( on the edges of the saucer ) as well as other areas on the secondary hull.

That is the only major thing I see that would need to be done ...

The rest is a very good attempt create a new "heavy carrier"...

I do like the paint on the nacelles.

keep it comming
