Blimey, i swear im gonna take a break from Fed models for a while lol.
This is an oldie ive had kicking around for a while that i decided to finally finish...the backstory is that a Miranda was taken and used by Starfleet Engineering as a component testbed for technology used by the upcoming Excelsior Class under development. After the Exelsior Class was finally finished (with the abandonment of the transwarp engines) the Mallory was far too useful to be scrapped, and continued as a testbed for other various Excelsior improvements over the years, before finally retiring with honors to Starfleet Academy's Cadet Engineering College to be used as/when needed to help train future "Scotty O'Briens".
I also had an idea of her being brought out of retirement to take part in the Dominion Wars - she would fit in perfectly with the rest of the "Frankenstein Fleet"

PS: a lot of people have suggested using a higher-poly Excelsior as a base, i may do one sometime although i doubt demand will be high, but this one itself was an abandoned request for someone that wanted it kept low-poly, which is why i used this particular one. Anyway for a mixed-up monster, i really like this one myself
