Me either, it was my thread too... can you just delete the personal attacks (which I missed entirely ??) from the thread and return it so we can get back to business?

And what's this "Mod Review: Skeletons in the Closet." forum?... is that in Hot&Spicy?... what's the deal on that forum?

At least copy over the last draft in the thread to save me the work of redoing it...

Or has TalonClaw decided that KCW defintely will not run? - what's going on here? I'm OK with that I guess, I'm just as glad an admin arbitrarily decided to kill it... hmmm, maybe it would make a fun single player mod? That would at least make use of the work Capt Jeff and I put into it.

edit: installer updated to include all the files for singleplayer campaign play - three campaigns included - one for each house - this way we can practice and debug while the dust settles.

1st off, Bonk, lets give Talonclaw the benefit of the doubt here and let him explain his moderator behavior to us ALL and how it pertains to his moving of the thread according to moderator rules and guide ines.

2nd, it seems to me either Talonclaw unilaterally took matters into his own hands and decided to get rid of a thread Bonk needed to use or the moderator guide lines and rules gave him no choice to do otherwise. Now, one or the other needs to change.

The thing to have done would have been for the moderator to edit the bad posts and warn those posters to refrain from posting there again or to delete only the bad posts. I'm done putting up with this. I've already talked to Stephen and a few other moderators and they told me (assured me) that locking or moving away a thread wont happen if the thread in question can be salvaged with a deletion or edit of an offending post.

Basically, Talonclaw, what you did unilaterally or were forced to do because of moderator guide lines and rules is to allow a thread hijacker to chime in on any thread he likes, stoke a couple flames and get everything everyone else wer discussing tossed out the window.

This moderator practice needs to change.

Thanks IKV Nemesis. Now can you please post all the discussion on the four main talking points of the thread? I'll give you the list.

1.) New/Replacement House leaders were being discussed.
2.) the picking up and running with the ball when a server designer leaves was being discussed.
3.) Draft trading and lists were being discussed (you posted half of that there.

4.) The plans for the hosting and scheduling of the server were still being discussed.

I would if I could but the copy of the thread that I have on screen is not that up to date. It ended about 16 hours ago. Hopefully the moderators/admins will review it quickly and edit out anything that must go then restore the thread to us.

A quick overview.

Someone was apparently a bad boy/girl in the thread (I didn't see it). A moderator moved the thread away from the public view for the admins/moderators to decide what to do about it.

We hope that any needed editing will be done and the thread returned to us soon. Apparently no one has an up to date copy of the information the thread contained.

I just discovered that my copy is older than I thought, about TWO days old. I was fooled by the time saying "today" instead of Oct. 28 as listed elsewhere on the saved screen. So it saves even less than I hoped.
