ISC vs everyone until 2273, then everyone against ISC after 2273?

Oh, since were taking artistic lic with the ISC arrival, can we do the same with the Andros? (Just an idea to keep Karnak in his place)  ;)

We could bring in 500 sp. or higher *snicker* warp-tacing Andros. in 2283?

We would need one empire to give up their slot to the Andros.  Just take the worst performing empire and let the Andros take over. Then bring it on. :D

Big map is a draw however, and a limit on specialty ships is too.  Econ being based on SFB history a big downer on the other hand.  Why not change it up and make the Feds and Klingons the minor powers for a change and allow the smaller races their due.  Imagine a Gorn Confederation or a Lyran Star Empire with the huge econs.  Realease your creative impulses past the Gene Roddenberry/SFB limits.   Just food for thought.

Sounds like a snorer to me.  *Yawn*

Although I do like some of the ideas.

One draw back that I see is with such a large map there won't be instant PvP.  But I can live with that <=== Note ironic double entendre.

To do that, have the Andros show up in 2265 in ISC space.

Whats wrong with switching up which races have the big econs?  I'm sure the traditionally higher player numbers of the Feds and Klinks would bring them to par with Gorn and the Lyrans even if those races started ahead.

Variety, boredom and more participation possibly.  Another OOB general war traditional alliance serverr has very limited appeal to me personally, but just my personal opinion.  If people want to fight the same server over and over and over, more power to them,  go with the majority if thats where they stand.  I got ZERO problem with that,  I'll just be playing something else.

The biggest problem is the lack of Federation players over the past few 'Fed' based servers.

I suggest someone start a serious/semi-serious server soon.
I drink far less when there isn't one.
Problems:
My liver stops hurting. The pain lets me know I am alive.
I loose weight. Hard to call yourself likkerpig if you look anorexic.
I am forced to socialize. Might even end up with one of them "freinds". Oy, the time wasted there.
The Likkerstores start telemarketing. Daily calls about Colt .45 being on sale, come back please!
The local distillery is thinking of laying off workers... they had a sales spike during GW3 and Squadron Commander and hired more staff.
Plus:
There hasn't been an "i'm the greatest" thread from Dizzy in a long time.
I owe Chuut big time.
Gorn suck! Especially Kroma! (don't expect a lot of arguement on that one).

It seems some have been getting too familiar with Likker.  Right!  I can see that I'm going to have to crack down with some real discipline in the GDA forums.

Unlikely, but anything is possible. I am all for non-traditional alliances, but "anything goes" servers will not draw more people, maybe a few different ones, but most likely less in total.

Kroma,

PS, Likker, in your dreams, got to be at least a mouthful.

Map . . .  First draft DONE.      130 x 60   or so.

ISC figured out completely with special rules.

Tholians and LDR playable (limited) and included.

Draft of rules.  DONE

WYN . . .  included. (Not playable)

2268 - Circa 2293.  Two real life days per game year.

Build cycles likely to be every game year.

Still working.

Kroma,

Yeah, what he/she/it said.   Everytime there's a non-traditional alliance dyna going on, there's a whole ream-load of flaming going on due to unexpected ship imbalances when SFB un-natural alliances are made.  Stay as close to SFB as you can and good things will happen:

What's the most popular dynaverse series this year that slam-dunks the other dynas? I am talking cold-hard player participation numbers that are consistently out-performing other dynas. Where the numbers logged on in the last couple of days for the server is near the number logged on the first couple of days for the server.  It's the GW series that sticks close to SFB.  It follows that an all-race GW server will perform just as well. The only race that you don't have to worry too much about un-natural SFB alliances is the ISC. They are built to matchup with everyone; especially the plasma races.  The other races are not.  So, keep the SFB-ness in the dyna.  That's what I do with the EEK misison packs, as much as I can.

Wesssa are the Frogs, and wessa muy, muy approve this bombad message, okey-dey!!  :D :D
