Topic: Planetary Assault Ship (PAS) WIP by Unknown Warrior (Read 2097 times)

There was one pic of this ship in its earlier stages posted in a thread on the child board (A Baker's Dozen). It seems that KF just had to have pics and an update on it, so here is the update. The textures just need some tweaking and resizing, but will hopefully be ready for release in the next week or so. Unknown Warrior has something different in mind for its registry and once that event is over I can get the registry on the ship and posted for download.

And now for the pics..............

Hopefully a few of you can find a spot for this monster in your game somewhere

Nice job with the pics Rage. She looks great. Nice Kodiak style warp engines too. This would make a good substitute for the STOCK FBB.

I tried my best to get good angles so that most of the ship could be seen. Unknown Warrior did a good job building this beast and I think he has at least three carriers to finish too. Hopefully I'll be able to post pics of them in the near future.

I do agree that this would make a good replacement for the stock BB, but it was designed to be bigger and take on almost any battleship or subdue a planet without too many problems.

Yes, there are 12 facing forward and there are four more on each side for a total of 20. If the photons don't finish you the fighter groups will.

Hi, I don't know how to start explaining this beast of a ship. First I would like to thank Rage and Kreeargh for there help in texturing this ship.

The PAS is an invasion force by its self. Its main task is to overwhelm Planetary or Starbase defenses with its arsenal of photon torpedoes and phasers. Then the invasion begins by beamming troops and launching troop shuttles. As you can see there are 8 shuttle launch doors on top of the ships. Finally there are two launch and landing pads which means fighters to join the attack or defend the ship. I pity the lone enemy ship that gets too close, it will either get blown in space or get overpopulated with marines. This ship will be a great addition to the center of any Federation task force.

The Line has been drawn and there will be no retreat beyond this line, the order of the day is "Forward".

I think that would fit nicely in an F-SCS slot. Sweet looking ship. Keep them coming.

KF, I'm fairly certain I read somewhere the Liberty was a troop transport ship... It could be a similar fasa design. I just think we need a huge planet assault ship. That may fit the bill...

I think you are right, Liberty you are referring to is a TNG design maybe at Star Trek Australia IIRC.
