Wasn't something like this supposed to be the operational heart of the computer system aboard Voyager?  They really never developed the idea in that series.

Coulda made for an interesting episode where the computer turns the crew over to the Borg then Harry wakes up at the end and tells Tom of a really weird dream he had :P
