Hey all, i remember over on the taldran boards someone had posted the fix for the esg loop is that thread around still or can who ever knows please post it here for me..

I believe the fix went like this:
open assets folder
open sounds folder
sounds.txt file, right click, turn off read only, apply.
open sounds.txt, there are a number of esg files, the ones that are important are the loop files
eg: wave   kSndESG0Loop   esgloo0.wav   ESG Level 0 Sphere Loop
you want to put [rem] at the start of the line
eg: [rem]wave   kSndESG0Loop   esgloo0.wav   ESG Level 0 Sphere Loop

Do that for each esgloop line (4 total) and that should stop the eternal esg noise.
Save the file, put it back to read only and you are good to go.

I attempted to fix this from the inside, and we (Taldren, myself) all agreed it's a bug in the Miles sound system version (or the layer that wraps it) being used. Through the course of looking for that I believe I did find and fix a couple other ESG bugs, though, which is a bonus.

FireSoul will this work on Cris Jones's TNG mod? Im sorry to bug you about somebody elses work, but its there as well.
