To P81 or Anyone who could help
« on: October 10, 2004, 11:12:27 am »
P81, did you ever make a C8 dreadnought or a B10V carrier before? If so, do you know where I could find those models?

If anybody could point me in the right direction, that would be helpful. I would prefer a P81 model, but if I can find ones near that level of detail, that would be nice. One similar to P81's B11K would be best.

WZ's Avenger class is very good.  It's what I use.

I still can't seem to find a decent B10V carrier model anywhere. I sure could use some help or input.

Check here.  It has two KCV models.  It's old, but it does look better than the stock model.

Or I can send you what I use.  It looks like a carrier, at least to me.

That's the D2 KBB - the B10, they never bothered to replace the B10V or the C8V

From what I can tell, it was made by P81 for Bridge Commander.  I also have the SFC3 version converted by Darkdrone.  I will post SFC2 version on my site.  For those that want it.

It is so cool.  I finally have my own site.  As pathetic as it looks, it is still cool.

Atrahasis has a fine wedge shaped KCV he caklls the Gorkon carrier. I consider it to be the equal to the SFB Napoleon FCV in style.  The Gorkon's hangars are mounted dorsally and face port and starboard. It really is in need of a major refit to current TMP standards like the K' Tinga. I'm not aware of Atrahasis having this old model posted at his site or anywhere else.

I am currently using the Hajwe, a kind of STOCK KCX variant by Captain KoraH it has two large hangar bays beneath the wings. It is available at Tri-mod shipyards.

It's a same that nobody seems to have created a mod for the KCV. I have every Fed and Klingon model from either P81, WZ, or Moonraker, but nobody seems to have made a Klingon carrier. :(

Often wondered about the lack of Klingon "true" carriers myself lol, got so annoying to the point i made myself some VERY temporary botchjobs out of existing ships to fill the slots until better things came along  :-\

Try, perhaps, a red forcefield on those?
BTW, glad to see those beasties used. ;)

Definitely using these beasties you made, some of my fav Kling ships at the moment, i love the SFB-but-TMP look and feel to em.

Here's a kitbash that I've been playing with.  It's all parts by Atra (Gorkon, D2-KBB).  I'm not sure what Atra's policy is these days.  If I could release, it really could use some textures.
