I think AK Vader-iCoP is ghosted on the server; he's been listed as on since last night when he dropped at end of mission.

Thanks LordSaxon, it does appear so, still logged on but no battles since last night - I'll give the server a kick...

Hexx, yes the M-INT is a Juggernaught (left a copy in as M-INT as scripts call for it)

LordKreug, yes the first Space Dragon and Juggernaught kills of this round are worth points. Good job!

I did post it... how about as a consolation - I'll give you a Juggernaught so you can terrorize the map with it if you like.... then you'll be the VC...  ;D (just tell me the account name)

The extra 2 phaser 2's on the Bobcat "P" and the leader variant aren't usable.

I'd automate the kill reporting if missions did not crash or players alt out. (can't seperate crashes from real results in the db). Hmmm perhaps you could tell the difference from within the script and store the result elsewhere...?

Anyway, points for screenhots and films was to fill up the new D.net library with some stuff and provide a place to store choice battles. The server is only semi-serious and is about having fun, so by no means feel obliged or pressured to get bogged down in documentation and kill reporting. This was an experiment and a somewhat successful one, I'm very pleased with the level of participation and feedback.  ;D

Remember what hex the battle was in? There was a battle a little earlier in which deadman's BB was destroyed but no survivors reported:

Quote
Destroyed:
deadmansix's H-MNV BPV:402 Dmg:3%

Survived:

Battle location: 8,10
Battle Participants:
Host: deadmansix Victory level: Devastating Defeat
Regular prestige: -150 Bonus prestige: 0
AI
Empire Defence value shift: 7-->6
Cartel Defence value shift: 7-->7

The battle logging of the kit does not seem to be entirely reliable, which may be due to the scripts themselves... I'm pretty confident in the logic of my destroyed ships script (attached for inspection), but I'll take another look at it to see if I can find any flaws.

... now that we have the serverkit source I can hopefully decode the shipcachevector blob now, just need to find the time, energy and motivation... which will allow trading in of ships on the webpage, a "garage" and account creation!  8)

Yeah, I noticed that, too. Sometimes if a player ctd'd or had a "host left" message, the log would show that ship destroyed. I noticed many reports that were not completely accurate with the results.
As far as the MNV/OS thing, not sure...Deadman did have another MNV after he lost the first one, perhaps he downsized before the mission Pardek got him. If I'm in error on his ship, I apologze. Not that it really matters much since all kills are worth the same no matter what size they are and the fact that this is a fun server.
And, it has been fun.  ;)

Logged on this morning, and was not presented w/ any missions in any hex I moved into. Logged off to try and relog, and the server was gone from the list. Any ideas?

OK, we are having some trouble getting a good enough crowd to test SGO4... SFB-OP will come down until testing on SGO4 is complete and the server well underway.

Sorry for any inconvenience but we really need to hustle on SGO4!  SFB-OP will return! Soon... Thank you for your patience and understanding.
