I love that ship! I take it that this is P81's version.

There is a picture out there, I forget where, entitled:  STAR TREK REMIXED that shows the USS Phobos nearing the Blue VGER cloud.

PS. Anybody have P81's 2003-2004 Akyazi-Akula sub-class?

The Phobos is just about the finest quasi-canon model, ever. At least I think so. It shares a special place with the Decatur and the Maguellanes for favorite Federation starships that should have been. Straight forward yet elegant designs that just look like they make sense. I hope they receive some special attention from some of our resident artists.

Come to think of it... Atrahasis's Belknap is as about much as you could ask for. There are a couple of Maguellanes that are very decent and Kevin Riley's Phobos is well done. What I really hope is, though, is that pneumonic81's Phobos finds its way into SFC. With LOD's, break model and the whole nine yards. The render he had up at Frost Works was starship art of the finest sort and pretty hard to forget.

Personnaly I think you need to tone down the background..  the stars and nebula over power the ship.... its an eye sore....

try tone it down then post again... look forward to seeing your results bud!  ;)

I tried that, it looked more like a ship and a separate background that way ;p

im not upto redoing this right now because i wanted to make it like that, a well lighted rendering since most of my others are quite dark and contrasted :|

Yes it is sorry....  :(

you see if somebody calls an image a rendering... that is the term used for a piece of software that renders an image. I.e 3ds max renders an image in full 3d.... then renders lighting or animation etc...

what are you using to create this IMAGE?
