WTG Japanese and Canadians!
« on: October 09, 2004, 09:21:18 pm »
Thank God for the Japanese and their speedy research and development and production, many Americans can't afford to pay $2.00 and up per gallon, especially if they have a long drive to get to their job. To top that off, the Japanese gave us higher than median income jobs at U.S. plants and kickbutt benefits, and not one single layoff! Us Yanks best get our sheet together quick! No wonder Toyota is numero uno and Honda is numero dos in the world of auto technology and manufacturing.

I'm impressed with the Accord V6 with 4 cylinder efficiency, very impressive.

WTG Canadians! Now that is badarse technology that not only the world will be interested in, but especially Mexico as they consume mucho natural gas! No more paying a gas station attendant for crappy gasoline at PEMEX, whose profits go to a very corrupt govt. and even in America fueling capacity in the garage of your home! I especially like the 150,000 mile warranty! Glad I found that news, might be a winning stock to invest in.  ;D

Hey Canadians, as you may or may not know, Sundays are a day of rest, except for this blondie, and a day that the Mexicans use to spend time with family. Anyways, during the long family dinners I had a very long discussion with Miguel, Vicky's brother who is an engineer with Visteon Corp. here in Chihuahua City. He has been sent to Germany and the U.S. for training and helping out with projects for the company, he is definitely not a "dudround."

http://www.visteon.com/

He and I get along great as he is very kind, and highly intelligent as he not only works as an engineer for an American company, but LOVES to keep busy like me, and we both LOVE technology.

I told him about the Honda Civic GX and the Canadian garage home natural gas pump. You see, Miguel owns a 70 Ranger P/U, by choice, not because he is poor, because he is not. He loves his classic P/U as much as I love my bro in law's and sis's 69 Camaro RS. Pemex is the ONLY gas station you will find in Mexico as they nationalized their petrol assets years ago and gave us Yanks the boot from exploiting that resource. Unfortunately for them, Pemex is VERY CORRUPT and NO GAS SALES TAXES GO TO THE PEOPLE, only to the "elite" of Pemex and corrupt politicians. It is ALWAYS full service, so you have to tip the bastich just for gassing up your car or truck, and they do no extras like us Yanks did in those days like check the fluid levels, tire pressure, etc..

Anyways, before I go off in another direction, Miguel, by himself, made his truck run off either gasoline or propane (natural gas). The comparisons? He gets almost a 30 percent INCREASE in mileage, not to mention no pollution and a cleaner burning engine off the natural gas! Natural gas is MUCH cheaper than petrol is here in Mexico. They use it for heating, cooking, you name it.

All that is needed is a natural gas line connected from somewhere in the house to the pump in your garage? You people need to jump on this company and tell them to get their arse in gear and heavily advertise in Mexico and elsewhere in Latin America where they use a lot of natural gas! I'm not only going to invest some money in their company, but also e-mail the board of directors and send them letters with pics of the realities here in Chihuahua, and how they could benefit by exporting here, and that is only one state of Mexico! Non-polluting fuel pump resource in the privacy of your home, I LOVE IT!

Texas, especially Austin, will be very interested in this technology as well. Many of our state vehicles and city buses run off this technology, but there are not many fueling stations for natural gas.  :( All the world has to do is wait on Honda to get full testing and production of the Honda Civic GX going. I imagine the folks in California would love to own this stuff as well, as they have always been getting bent over on gasoline prices.

I have immense respect for your country as you Canadians are the most wired (internet, sat, etc...) nation in the world, us Yanks come in second on that one. Your country also cares a lot more for the environment, IMO, than us Yanks. You are making use of your resources and technology, make the most of it and get involved and get those exports rocking and rolling!  ;D
