Let's talk hypothetical for a minute...
Let's say someone here, not naming names, likes macs, and let's also say that they have Virtual PC 6 installed on their handy dandy high speed low drag iBook G4 with windows 2K pro running, and let's also say that this person installed SFC1. Well, SFC doesn't seem to want to load past the "do you want to register" part. In other words, it doesn't seem to recognize my built in vid card as a vid card, so it won't load. Does anyone know of a way to make this work for me?
On a side note, thus far there seems to be enough processing power, even in an emulation to run the game, but of course, I won't know forsure until i get some expert help.

that's Going to be a Nemesis question unfortuantly, sorry Clark, But I don't have enough Know how about Macs.

I believe you can't use SFC1. on a Macs as it stricky a PC game and miust use Vid. card for PC. don't believe it would patch all that well either if it was able to play on Macs it would say it on the box sorry.I think Nemesis can have look though.

I would go out and buy a PC a used one will do.I hope this is what you are looking fo and helps.

I already have a PC which runs all versions of SFC, it's just that I've made a move back to Macs since I've had my fill of crashes, blue screens, viruses and spyware. If I want to come home and play SFC I can with no problem, I'd just like to do it on my little iBook since it now runs Windows 2000

Might want to PM Nemesis Clark, he would know more about that then I would. He seems to be the resident Apple Expert on things like that, If It can even be done what with the Differance in openGl etc.

While the votes of confidence are very nice (and two people PMing me to help you) I must admit that I have never used a Mac and am unable to be of any help.

In the past though when the step daughter of a friend had a Mac problem I did get the solution from people here so don't give up hope. You might wish to repost with a topic that specifies that it is a problem with your video card not being recognized under Virtual PC on the Mac.

Man I owe you an Apoligy, For some Reason, I think I keep Getting Death Merchant and you confused. Both of you sent me D & D stuff at about the same time, and For some reason I can't Keep It straight.

Shoot, as Ill as she has been, I wouldn't take the Chance. Anydiagnostic's need to get her Better God Bless her soul, Haven't had time for that Kind of thing in about a year.

Not A Problem at All Clark, Right now to be Perfectly honest, It's Hopping she can Recover. Bah, I don't want to Think about It right now, Let's just say I have alot of Faith that things will turn out as they should, and there Are others Who Need Support more then me. Man, I wasn't aware that anyone had ever gotten SFC to run on a mac. I thought Firesoul had some interest in the idea at one time as well, maybe he got something going, I don't know.

I'm interested to see how it turns out too, since if you can play SFC on a Mac, it'll put the nail in the coffin of the PC for me for sure!
