A sad incident indeed as few Hollywood stars dare to speak out about the type of films that SHOULD be made, not just stay quiet and hope to land a role in some BS flick. It is also sad because only a few evenings earlier, Kerry mentioned him and what a great guy Chris is during the stem cell and health research part of the 2nd presidential debate.

A great man has been lost. My childhood hero has been lost; the news hit me like a freight train, and brought a tear to my eye.

May he rest in peace, and no longer be stopped from soaring high, like the hero he played, and the hero he was.  :(

So many of our dreams at first seem impossible, then they seem improbable, and then, when we summon the will, they soon become inevitable.

The Chancellor of the Klingon Empire...The Praetor of the Romulan Star Empire...

...and the Captain of a Federation Starship...

A sad day indeed.  He brought a lot of enjoyment into our lives.

Very sad news... I had kind of hoped I would get to see him walk again, I really expected I would.

As did I.  I really thought he was gonna make it to recovery.  Very depressing.

But tell me, can you heal what father's done?
Or fix this hole in a mother's son?
Can you heal the broken worlds within?
Can you strip away so we may start again?
Tell me, can you heal what father's done?
Or cut this rope and let us run?
Just when all seems fine, and I'm pain free, you jab another pin,
Jab another pin in me
