Im Back,

Just finished this model ive been working on for some time now. I know shes not 100% accurate, but my reference was very contradictory so i made alot of "best guess's" especially in her coloring. The model was started by Charvell, but he couldnt finish it and he moved on to bigger and better things. So i finished the mesh for him and did the texture work. poly count is 2980, and has 3 1024x1024 texture sheets. 1 light map. NO lods hehehe. enough yappin heres the pics

She will be uploaded at trekmods once shes converted to SFC and BC formats

Yep have to agree with everyone else.... that is some fine modelling you have got going on there... textures are perfect.. and the poly count nice and low!!! Spot On!

Tho i would like to make a D-5 I doubt i can because there is vitually zero reference for that ship. i cant work with just 1 cut off side view

IMHO this is a design that would help to bring the Klingon fleet up to speed !! Sometimes breaking away from the "box" just a tad is a very good thing !!!

Very cool, might benefit from a bit of green in the hull (to fit with the other Ent era Klingon ships which are all green) but the mesh and texture details are awesome.

What's left to tweak? they look damn near perfect to me. I'd only add a forward torpedo tune to the D9 but that's it. FASA Trek was kind of bizarre in what they armed or didn't arm some of their stock ships with...

Any ETA on a SFC release?

LOL apologies for the long wait for the raptor, we bacame overwhelmed with other stuff. The model has been finished for a while now, and was expected to go into the "favor the bold' mod. (it still can if someone wants to import her). Right now Capt' Pierce has sorta taken over the SFC conversion dept of Trekmods and the model is in game, but needs a break mod. Ill try to get her released asap.

While were on the subject of ENT ships, has the klingon D5 cruiser been done? Working on a mini-mod for Nexus. I have most of the human ships, and a Raptor by Executioner_De. Need a Bird of Prey from this era and a D5 cruiser.

The Trekmods modeller thats going to do the D-5, and 22nd century BoP is named Commander Jones. Ill help him as much as i can, but right now im still modelling the venture scout. Im a "1 model at a time" type person. The Raptor beta should be posted on our BC/SFC/NEXUS forum soon along with a few other ships we r working on check there in a few.

Nice model, but perhaps you should take a look at the schematic of the real 3D model before using it ingame...

It still looks good as is though. Will you consider also "converting" this ship for TNG era duty, just changing a few details here and there to make it look as if it was a comtemporary of the Vor'cha (which it really is, despite Eaves claims?)

The D5 actually has a schematic, but it was seen onscreen and therefore is a bit too vague. But, this site has high-res screencaps from Season 4, which includes the D5 cameo in "The Augments."

You can back track and make a model of the ENT BoP if you wanted too, seeing as it has some very good shots in there aswell. Happy modeling!

Um, Mariner--he did consult those schematics. I know he did, because I remember scanning them myself for him back before Berrnd had them up at Ex Astris. :p

Thanks for the the D5/ENToP reference, though, that should come in handy for those projects.
