I remember, I'm grabbing my Old Metal Pot to help Archer fight off them Pesky Alien Nazi's.  ;)

Seriously, I'm glad SciFi channel shows Stargate and Atlantis twice on Friday nights. This way I can watch all three shows.

isn't Enterprise on at 2000? That woulld make it a nice lead in to the Stargate shows. And hat would mean you won't have to tape one and watch one.

I for one am having mixed feelings...I enjoyed last season, but I'm scared of that ending and watching a totally awful storyline...

I was afraid that somehow with my current work schedule that I had missed the premiere. I plan on watching it on Friday, but as far as I'm concerned this season is the make or break for me. If I don't like what I see by the middle of the season, I plan on washing my hands of the show and wait for the DVD release.

I just don't have the time anymore to sit through bad TV.

PLease let Scott Bakula start off the episode by saying "oh boy" so I can stop watching the damn thing...

Am I the only one who thought that T'Pol was going to hug Archer when he walked back onto the bridge?

It's not looking good, folks.

If the ratings are that low for the season premiere, it can only go downhill from there.  If UPN is still committed to the show, they'll likely move it.  If not, then it's finished.

To be fair, it aired along with the AL playoffs and a presidential debate.

I think we ought to see how it fares NEXT few weeks to get a more accurate view.

From what I read several months ago, Enterprise could have very sucky ratings and still last the season.  Paramount dropped the cost to UPN of episodes way below actual production costs so they could get 100 episodes allowing syndication.

You know what?  It's actually a pretty good show, the overdone time travel notwithstanding.  As with TOS, it really is too cerebral in its background themes for the average viewer who wants see some fistfights, gunfire, smooches, hugs, romantic angles.  I might be one of the vocal objectors to the time travel stuff, but at least it's something to think about that's out of the ordinary.

Selling it at below cost seems an insult.

It's not out of the ordinary anymore, because they always do it.
