Tholian Interface?

In a Hypothetical server which has Tholians and Federation versus Klingons and Romulans, what interface would be best?

Political Correctness is really Political Censorship

A tax code should exist to procure the funds necessary for the operation of government, not to manipulate human or business behavior.

Several Talking Points...

First, Mirak shouldnt be in the poll.

Second, Gorn ship UI's are the only ones that can be used to represent the entire hardpoint lineup of thol ships..

Third, if you use any other race besides Gorn, then you will be forced to use other race UI's for the ships and as a result you wont be able to see any ship stats while viewing the shipyard shiplist.

Fourth, most of you arnt going to play Thol anyway, so the motive for your vote is to make sure your own race slot isnt used.[/li]

Now that that's out of the way, Die Hard... I dont think you should even hold a poll. I mean, Dick Cheney just beat the f*ck out of John Edwards in the Veep Debate and yet the polls on cnn and msnbc show otherwise. Polls mean nothing. DH, if you want to win as an admin, you have to play politics. So what you do here is choose the race slot you want and then go to that race moderator and negotiate a sweet no-bitch deal to move them to another race. Problem solved. ;)

Actually if there are limits on transporter usage Mirak would be ideal.

Not according to Brez. Apparently, I, er... used a little creative leeway when designing them in order to make them more unique. As per Brez, Tholians, although being portrayed as magma based entities, have boarding parties and are allowed to exchange in hostile boarding actions with any other race.

Unboardable SG3ish Thols were quite unpopular, one of the reasons I changed their freighte statusr b4 SG3 went live was to allow for boarding actions so convoy raids would work... I thought I used more than just the idea of them being more unique a race as the reason for their NT special role, but I cant remember now...

But anyway, thats not an issue now that we are going by SFB rules and the Tholians are now being viewed more as crystalline entities than magma based.Makes sense.

it more than likely will be Gorn regardless of the poll because it will be less work than converting them.

I do find it very curious trhat the Kzin are leading in the poll after that debate over theri "broken" interface for KCW.

PS.   Yes, Cheney made Edwards look stupid, but Edwards has better hair.

These are obviously votes by people who don't want to play Tholian, but fear that Mavy may embarrass them (again!) if they don't handicap him.
