COMMENDATION QUESTION - Color of Velvet case lining
« on: October 06, 2004, 06:05:50 am »
Okay, here is the deal.

All the medals have to have the same color because they are tileable. If a person wanted to ever make an "Award Box" on their site, it looks continuous.

See?

I'd say blue personally, just looks smarter & easier on the eye. The green doesn't suit the whole award thing and the red is very Klingon; purple looks more like some kinda royal award  :) Then again you could say the blue is very Federation... o i dont know  ::)

I'll go blue just cos i like it

Given most of these awards look very 'Fed-esque I'd say go with the blue.
If I determine the enemy's disposition of forces while I have no perceptible form, I can concentrate my forces while the enemy is fragmented. The pinnacle of military deployment approaches the formless: if it is formless, then the deepest spy cannot discern it, nor the wise make plans against it.

I was thinking Black (not listed above) as it would clearly show the metal looking parts better.

Black or blue... blue 'cause this is the Feds we are talking about.

Personally, I like red myself, but depending on how much hosting space you have, maybe just put up all the colours and let people choose what they like  :)
