I accidentally installed weatherbug when I put AIM on my PC,and can't for the life of me figure out how to get rid of it. Can someone please walk me through wiping this stupid program off my HD and also how to run fewer start up programs so I can free up more system resources?

OK, do this, Go to Start Run MSconfig then go to start up, and Look for the call for weather Bug. Click It off, and restart the PC.

It will turn the Program off at least.

Then Maybe use Hijack this, or something to Clear It off your Pc.

Be very carefull with Hijack this though.

Thanks Stephen, it seems to be off now, good riddence.I think I did remove it some time back, but this little piece of it still remained in the systray taking up memory.

I'm not sure you'd like Saber all that much- he's very rambunctious and free spirited. Little bastard discoverd the keyboard cover to my laptop the other day, dragged it off and used it as a chew toy. But then, once you've got him in your arms he just goes limp and absorbs any attention you give him. Strange combo to be sure.
He does seem to like meeting new animals over all.

I wish I still had my cat Cujo. He was just a regular cat. About 40 lbs. He had 3/4 inch teeth and his head was larger than both of my fists together. He was born and grew up under a hog pen. He liked to kill those big black rats that could chew through 2X4's to get to the hog feed. Man, he was a monster. He was nearly as long as my leg. He got out of the house one day and a neighbor mistook him for a Bobcat and shot him.

Wow he sounded like he's a much bigger cat than the one I have! Was he very inteligent? Most of the big cats I have had, and I've had cats in my life since before I was born, were incredibly sweet but just as brainless.

I am going to hope that this will link you to a picture of my Tubby Deamon. The picture should be one with him on my Toyota Sienna van. Mind you he's about two years old in that one and Ferret is swearing up and down that he's grown since then!

anytime, All I did was save It to my harddrive, and then when Making a post, you will see an advanced option towards the bottem. Just click on that, and you will see where you can upload a file. I just put in the Area on My Hd C:/desktop/ Pic name and hit Reply.

LOL Same with Cujo. All muscle. All the pics of him I have found dont really let you know how big he was. Im looking for one in particular. It was when I moved back from Tennessee. I couldnt find a dog carrier big enough for him, so I made a cage out of hog pen wire. The mesh is like 2"X4". It was a very large cage. I couldnt let him run around free in the truck because he would have shredded the upholstery. He was grey with blue eyes...kinda spooky looking.
