Topic: What is with WEATHE BUG?!?!?! (Read 7292 times)

I accidentally installed weatherbug when I put AIM on my PC,and can't for the life of me figure out how to get rid of it. Can someone please walk me through wiping this stupid program off my HD and also how to run fewer start up programs so I can free up more system resources?

ummm, it's not in the add/remove programs list, but it's still in the task bar. Crappage.

OK, do this, Go to Start Run MSconfig then go to start up, and Look for the call for weather Bug. Click It off, and restart the PC.

It will turn the Program off at least.

Then Maybe use Hijack this, or something to Clear It off your Pc.

Be very carefull with Hijack this though.

Thanks Stephen, it seems to be off now, good riddence.I think I did remove it some time back, but this little piece of it still remained in the systray taking up memory.
BTW, you didn't happen to get me a souvenir in Hawaii, like, oh, I dunno, maybe a sexy Asian woman from there?
