A new hope for America

Almost 2 Billion, count em, 2 BILLION shares bought and sold today. They can say what they want about Peoplesoft and other malarkey, we have had good quarters before during the Bush era, yet average trades were in the millions per day. My guess is after last night the people of America from ALL income brackets have hope in our future, as well as the world has a bit more faith in us now. Reminds me of the 90's when our economy was king and this kind of day was more or less the norm, and just about every American was making some money and had food on the table and a decent job and educational opportunities to progress themselves.

On a side note, what is up with Ford? Toyota GAVE them ideas and hybrid technology earlier this year, yet it seems that the people at Ford never learn.

Meanwhile back at the Toyota ranch, lookie at the sales of the hybrids, and the 270 H.P. 600 miles a tankful Highlander gets released early 2005, then the hybrid Camry later on. Thank God Camrys are built in the U.S. now, those wonderful Japanese gave us jobs and great vehicles to boot!  8)

Nissan was a surprise as well, they were really hurting there for a while.
