can't enter activation code

  You will want to load it up just go to start/prorams/Orion Pirates then click.When it is about to start loading hit the escape button so you avoid the opening of the game.When it loads will see a panel to enter your cd key.It is possible you are getting the blops blops sound.I hope this helps.

  It would be nice though if you could suppy more information about your problem.What exactly do you mean by reloading OP?

Do yourself a favour and ignore the first reply to your question.

What has happened is that the dialog box for the key entry is not active. The dinging sound you hear is the windows error you would get if tried to type something while no program was running. One way of solving this little problem is to press the Windows/start key so that you are switched back to the desktop (which was actually active) then use your mouse to select OP from the task bar. OP will now become full screen again but this time the dialog box for the key entry will be active and you can enter your key.

Remember to modify the start-in entry for the OP icon and use the starfleetop.exe file.
