When it comes down to it, if fans are going to get to see William Shatner return to Star Trek, Paramount Pictures is going to have to fork over the green.
During Sunday night's Emmys, Shatner told TV Guide's Michael Ausiello that Paramount is apparently balking at the amount of money that Shatner wants to appear in two episodes of "Star Trek: Enterprise" this season on UPN.
"When I talked to them about money, they blinked," he said, adding that he could still make the appearance if UPN executives "open their eyes."
Shatner, who was attending the ceremony as a new Emmy winner himself for his guest appearance on "The Practice," is getting ready for a new series he's starring in the fall called "Boston Legal" on ABC.

It is a great record and it is really worth going out and doing some shows in major cities, Folds told Billboard. Shatner was not a musician at all. But he is still part of the music. I've never heard a record quite like it.
