Yet Another update on the Choir Angelos
« on: September 24, 2004, 02:49:01 pm »
Created additional textures based on what Atolm suggested.

Same shot at 0.5 Global illumination

Now i just need to figure out how i can add windows to the side of the hull.

I have been informed that the Choir, in fact, have no crew, so the windows are coming off, lol.

Aaw, can't you keep a copy of the texture with the windows as an alternative, it really does look cool with 'em on. This is turning out to be a really cool ship, so if there's no crew, who are the Choir? Are they the ships themselves?

As far as i can tell, the Choir are a bunch of constructs built and programed by a race. The Choir were made to fight the Hellions, but unfortuately, the race who made them were bad programers, and they saw the chaos in the creators, and turned on them.

So they're the same as those metal dudes in that Voyager episode with the slightly different shaded ships? But these have much cooler ships obviously.

One of the early episodes, they encountered a damaged robot, looked like something from an Asimov novel cover, shiny metal face with almost no features, anyway they repaired it and it befriended Torres and took her to it's 'people', all of em robots, they wanted her to make a power module to power them because they could make everything else they couldn't make new modules so when one of em died they couldn't replace it. She helped em out but then they found out they had wiped out their creators and that there was another identical race of robots who did the same and they were both fighting the war their creators had tried to stop, their ships were very lame though.
