I haven't look at the file, but can't the "find/replace" function of MS word do this almost automaticlly?
No, the sounds text is a maze of different "pointers" to wav files.
Just a sample.....lets say red alert voice:
kSndRedAlert alrdfed.wav Red alert Klaxon
kSndYellowAlert alyefed.wav Yellow alert Klaxon
kSndKliRedAlert alrdkli.wav Klingon
kSndKliYellowAlert alyekli.wav
kSndRomRedAlert alrdkli.wav Klingon
kSndRomYellowAlert alyekli.wav
kSndHydRedAlert alrdkli.wav Klingon
kSndHydYellowAlert alyekli.wav
kSndLyrRedAlert alrdkli.wav Klingon
kSndLyrYellowAlert alyekli.wav
kSndGorRedAlert alrdkli.wav Klingon
kSndGorYellowAlert alyekli.wav
kSndISCRedAlert alrdkli.wav Klingon
kSndISCYellowAlert alyekli.wav
kSndMirRedAlert alrdkli.wav Klingon
kSndMirYellowAlert alyekli.wav
**************************************************************
As you can see, I did modify EVERY race's red alert to "Point" to the klingon sound file EXCEPT the Feds. I figured that there would be no way in hell Fed would be used....lol. Find and replace would not work in this set up. It's all manual baby !!
