Hey Rick!!  Good of you to drop in.  And yes, everyone here knows who you are  ;D  Even the youngsters who weren't around then still see your name 10 times a week for kitbashes.  So, how have you been??

so anyway as some of u knwo i was working over at maddoc, however i quit that job. now im working for Sone Online Entertainment on Star Wars Galaxies. we just wrapped up a new expansion called Jump to Lightspeed which was pretty darn cool and im looking forward to the new expansiuon which starts soon.

meanwhile however i was thinking it might be time for a new piece of art for SFC. now i dont play anymore... and i dont remeber how to get ships in the game. still icoudl make a ship and turn it over to one fo u to convert to the game.

the ship i been thinking about is the 1701-a of coourse. this ship is my fav of all time and i havent touched it in years. plus its a very kitbashable ship as the parts can be used for alot of things. what do u all think?

Now there is a silly question.. let me put it like this.  ;)

"And lo, God came down from the Heavens and saw that there was anguish aplenty in His Land, for it had been too long since His Word had been heard.  And He spake upon the people saying,'Lo, unto you I give these Words, Let Them Be Known.  I shall make for you a Great Ship, and it shall be called Enterprise, and you shall revere Her and carry Her forward from this time forth."  And the people heard the Words, and it Was Good."

(grin).  Yeah, I think you'll get a positive response on this one Rick.. with a new TMP FCA and a new Miranda, we can create almost anyting TMP.  ;)

All you really need Max for is the export to .MOD.. if you can mesh it and hp/dp it in Maya and then get it into Max intact, then it'll just be the export to MOD from there (assuming that you still have a version of Max that the Taldren plugins support.. Max 6 or above doesn't work with the Taldren plugins (we hear).

Great Moogly Boogly! How can one be forgotten when they are unforgettable? It's always a good day when you drop by, Rick.

To this day your connie has got to be regarded as the gold standard in Federation models. Dead man (Wicked Zombie) might have finally surpassed it but it is stylistically the measuring stick for TMP era. How could it not be? Those series of textures account for much of the kitbashes in these parts.

Edit: Here's a thought... since you desire to build a new constitution to leave with us  how about this... Remember the Phobos so many of us admired? I think there is an LWO model of it in circulation but never converted to SFC. Is that possible? Because d*** it was a fantastic looking model. Surely someone would volunteer to do that unless it is the property of a company that would take exception. There is a Phobos that is credited to Kevin Riley that is very well done but not the same model. Or is it? Anyway, just a idea.
