I appreciated the fact that the SG1 finale wasn't "To be continued". I hate the fact that series have decided that they must end a season with something hanging over us to keep us waiting anxiously for the return. Hell we're watching it, we're not going to forget about it when they get back.
I had a pretty good idea that Teal'C would come in and save the day at the end. The Trust doesn't have the gate anymore and that's a good thing. I don't know how intact their ship is though as Daniel blew up a bunch of the controls. On the other hand, there shouldn't be many of them left. There were only like three of them on the ship in the first place. At least one died, that left the woman, and maybe the other man. Is that enough to keep things going? I don't know. I do know they can't cloak anymore which would make sneaking up on Earth tough. How can they get in touch with their Earth leaders?
The whole virus that destroy's Goa'uld was quite a challenge. Do you use it and destroy the enemy regardless of the damage that it causes to your allies? How much Tritonin can be produced and how quickly?
I have to give the Atlantis writers great credit, they couldn't have had better timing with a hurricane story. Leaving the Puddle Jumper on the ground was insane though. It would end up doing it's impression of a mobile home on earth. The Genii was an interesting twist. The leader of the invasion isn't too bright though, taking actions that will lead to the destruction of Atlantis. There goes any advantage in the fight with the Wraith. These guys lose serious points for continuing the episode until January though.
