In order to destrpy the reputations of some of our most beloved persona..

No actually I'm wondering -What phot editing program do most of you guys use?
I was going to pick up Photoshop 8 (or whatever it is) but the price tag of $700 Canadian kinda
made me rethink. (I mean I like you guys but...)
 Anyone use a cheaper <much much cheaper> photoediting program that will let me do
mean and nasty things?

Paint shop pro does alot of the same things as photoshop but is alot less expensive.

Last time I saw it(about 2 years ago) it was only about 100 bucks.

The good thing about programs like Photo Pro  and Paint Shop Pro is that they update their software from time to time.  When they do, you can pick up "last year's" version at the closeout software bin.

So it's a year old.  So what?  For what you want to do it will work just fine.

This is how I got my copy for less than $20 US at MicroCenter.

I use Photoshop Elements 2.0, which is MUCH cheaper than the professional version of Photoshop.

All I've used is PaintShopPro.

It won't make the high detailed graphics, but it is good to joke around with.

I generally use Paint, you know the shareware that comes with your computer.

Its basic, but with a little imagination you can do alot.
