KCW -- still a bit away but I am getting excited
« on: September 15, 2004, 08:26:34 pm »
Don't know about the rest of ya -- and ya its a bit of a bummer that KHH wont be a team but on the other hand I am starting to get excited about this server..

Hey come on.... we should not EVER see comments about you only beat me because you guys have better ships that year.....

All comes down to pilot skill, luck and a question of direct fire vs drones...

For those who have never flown Klingon before your in for a great time -- best part is you will get to hit that all important Z key more then you normally do.

You Klingon dog!  Your house smells like a Romulan brothal!  If you wish, I can arrange to have pathetic human's watch over your house to guard your clans worthless hides as they swill romulan ale, mean-while REAL klingon warriors will be fighting and dieing for the glory of the empire and stovakore!

Man that was fun....damn I wish I could play.  Damn new jobs anyways  ;D

Have fun bud...

And who's gonna pay for the carpel-tunnel surgery I'll have from repetitive stress injuries related to over-use of the "Z" key...

Comeon, I'm normally a plasma-player.  I'm used to hitting Z twice every 3-minutes on a good day... :D

That is just because the PPD crutch you use has never forced you to learn how to volley your torps. You and that little puddy tat are going down. Just wait until you get your first whiff of House Dizaroma.  :P

You know, I fully intend on staying upwind of your house...

Otherwise...  :o

And I don't want to be there... :D

By the way, the PPD is not a crutch.  It sure helps save wear-and-tear on the keyboard as I don't have to tap "Z" five times in 10 seconds to strip a ship of it's weapons, but otherwise... ;)

Kewl!  Using the Z key means I won't have to click on the target symbol in the bottom right anymore to fire weapons!

Well tonights the draft ... I bet they are done ... Do you think this would be a good time to tell Kroma that if he is my XO I will challenge him ? LOL

PS my comments about the Z key -- come from PGC_Beaver -- a true Romulan -- when giving advise on how to fly Klingon ships -- he would say "Just keep hitting the Z key a lot"

Peons in the House Dizaroma can't challenge the XO just the Primary Leader, so you will have to wait until I kill Dizzy first.

Unfortunately there seems to be some foolishness preventing XO's from anhiliating the Primary Leader  :'(

Yeah, something about the XOs being co-conspiritors in the house's maneuvers...

Which when you think about it is kinda odd as there's also no way for the XO to be replaced
unlike the largley figurative position of House Leader.

There is a way to get rid of XOs, you just have to be smart enough to see it...  :police:

Just to set you all straight, the rules as they where initially posted on the development site are not even close to the final version I will be posting Saturday. Just got the revisions yesterday, but am traveling for work today.

The replacement of the XO was an over sight in the final rules as well though, so I will confer with Hooch on how to rectify it. I think I have a straight forward solution though.

That it would be impossible to replace someone who's skill, warrior spirit, and all around good looks make me
the real driving force behind our house?

(Actually I think that Julin is referring to the fact that the rules currently allow the "winner" of a challenge for house leadership gets to "make chganges as he or she sees fit"
Which I woul assume includes replacing the XO. Julin likes to think he's clever though, so don't tell him I told you  ;D )

Phase 1 complete.

Grasshopper has learned his second lesson.  Understand the rules.

We know he has the first lesson down (propiganda)... :D

Next, we teach him the art of dressing down his troops... ;)

Young Grasshopper has been corrupted by Kroma.

I am not talking "dressing down" as in "out of uniform"...

I'm talking "dressing down" as in what a Drill Instructor does to wayard troops.  You know, some of the worst DIs are the short ones, cause there's nothing worse than having to physically look down on someone who's yelling at you knowing full well you are really "looking up" to him... ;)
