So I'm looking for a book or two...
« on: September 14, 2004, 05:40:50 pm »
In order to get into the "Klingon" mood I feel I might <shudder> try and read a couple fo the Star Trek <lol> "Novels"
NOw I rea a couple a few years ago and found them bad.
Very Very Bad
In fact even the 40K and Star Wars Novels seemed fantastic by compariosn.

So assuming that some of you hav read the Star Trek Novels are there any involving Klingons that are
actually decent reads?

-I'm currently trying to track down "The Final Reflection", seems to be oop now , but will be reprinted in Novenber.

Are there any other Klingon novels that are worth looking for?

Well, not exactly a novel, but, I would recommend "Klingon for the Galactic Traveler" by Marc Okrand (creator of the Klingon language for ST) It gives a "history" of the Empire along with with exploring the behaivors, language and dialects.

The absolute best with no contenders is "Final Reflection" by John M. Ford.

I would just think of General M'ortok or G'worn. There is a book out about them recently and it is supposed to be good.I just reading all William Shatners ST. Novels.I always think of General M'ortok when playing Klingon.

I would check out Indigo or Chapters

Correction the Book is about Worf and General M'ortok
