I am back and I am pleased to announce the commissioning of six new starships! All six were made by Marauth, and they are breathtaking ships. I am also pleased to announce that a brand new version of the Rogue Class BC will be released in roughly a week's time. This includes all four original versions, Marauth's version of the original four and a new variant as well. When all is said and done there will be at least a dozen different versions to choose from. Also I will have the renaming kits as well. I should have that all ready in about a week, hopefully sooner. There are two teaser pics on my site of the redone BC. Later this week, I will be releasing another six starships by Marauth. My ships will come after the release of the Rogue Class, since they are still in the early development stage. Also this is just a quick website I threw up to get these ships out.

Enough chitchat here are the starships.

First up is the lovely Enterprise Class Starship, the USS Sicilia. Wait a minute, that's not the Sicilia! What is that monstrosity?

Enough humor, ok here is the REAL USS Sicilia.

Next up is the USS Lafayette, notice the new drone textures. Excellent work Marauth!

Then we have the USS Revere a guided weapons destroyer, again with the new drone textures.

A new scout class, the USS Hermes.

The USS Catalunya, a beautiful War Destroyer.

A variant of the Catalunya, the USS Euskal Herria. Also with the new drone textures.

All ships were done by Marauth, I merely did the break mods and the hardpoints. Enjoy the new ships, here is my new URL.

Oh Yeah! Now that's what I'm talkin' about! All of them are awesome! I know what I'll be doing tonight! Any change we'll be seeing more Connie varients? U.S.S. America type (as seen in Ships of the Star Fleet Vol. 1)? I've ben hoping somebody would tackle that one.

Thanks for the kind words, ofcourse major credit goes to WZ for giving us the brilliant models to work from and ofcourse to Rogue for being kind enough to add hp and brk mods to them and hosting, BTW Rogue, I noticed that the Revere has the blue bits on the right side nacelle texture, this is my fault as I forgot to recolour that texture before sending so I'll send the correct texture for that with the correct name textures for the Bismarck. For those interested I have a half-finished USS America sitting on my hard drive but I nver bothered to finish adding the details to the saucer and naming it as I figured there'd be no interest, if you want I can finish it up and send it along to Rogue. Oh also Rogue, I forgot to send you the general all purpose readme type thingy to add to the files, damn my laziness, tha'll be with you ASAP. I regret that these use WZ's previous bridge module mesh but I'm reallly just far too lazy to redo all my ships at the moment for such a minor difference, we'll just say they're variants or something.

Starforce2, glad you like the Catalunya, I was going to do an SFB style DW updated to TMP but I can't stand the overabundance of American names in Starfleet and my design only vaguely resembles the Arizona anyway so I named it after the Catalan country, in Catalan. A very nice language and people... Oh and a nice pint of

for the one who can tell me the meaning of the Euskal Herria, it shouldn't be too hard with the resources of the intarweb at your disposals...

Also on the cards from me BTW as Rogue said are some Fed BCs, the Kirov, New Jersey, Bismarck and Shangri-La and also a new variant I made the Mittelmark, an exclusively drone armed BC - the F-BCD. Plus there's an NCL and NCD variant based on WZ's Ptolemy, erm, a Coronado/Oriskany with two mods to represent the F-CVL and F-CVS. (the difference being extra torpedos as I understand from SFC, not and SFB buff here) Finally I'm currently working on an F-CFS, which has 8 torpedo launchers all mounted in left facing arcs, it's a rather interesting ship design that SFB really could have used, and I wanted it to have a nice WZ styled model to represent it.

Thanks Marauth, I did make some readmes myself, but I'll add the updated ones to the zips. Just keep sending me whatever you got. Glad everyone likes the ships and I just wanted to say to Wicked Zombie that we do appreciate all the hard work you put into your ships, and it's about time someone started using them in kitbashes. There's more on the way!

of course we all know that Sicilia is the proper name for Sicily, and that ship name is just a little ego-feeder for myself.

BTW Rogue, I made a mistake when I told you the number of the nacelles on the Sicilia - it's LN68 not 69, my fault and really small detail. Also I looked at the readme in one of the files, they're fine as is but could you add these lines in bold to the end:

I never would have put that a few months ago but around the time when Taldren collapsed I noticed some sites hosting models with no credits or readmes assuming that they were fair game regardless of the modder's wishes, this is just to try and stop these kinds of sites from putting up models without asking permission. It doesn't take much effort to write a couple of sentences in an email asking the author's permission does it?

Incredible work guys. The qaulity of the textures are exquisite, even on the fugly Catalunya and Euskal Herria.

I've actually got an idea for the Coronado/Oriskany. What if, instead of the retextured Enterprise hull on the site, you give it a retextured WZ Bellicose hull? The extention on the underside would look great with the Ark Royal doors on them., and make slightly more sense than cutting into the exsisting hull of the Enterprise...

I'd get the Belli meself but Nightsoft is down....AARRRRRGGH!

Look at me with a straight face and say there aren't canon ships uglier than the Catalunya, I thought it looked rather nice but I guess I'm biased, what exactly do you think makes it look ugly? Or 'fugly' to use your term, which is a profanity BTW.

The Coronado/Oriskany is an exercise in recreating an existing ship design, not to make a new one, I'll certainly look into making what you describe from a cut down 'cruiser' version of the Bellicose - i.e. no attachments above the saucer, but that would more resemble my Shangri-La which is a Kirov - like the ones you can see on the site, but with the Ark Royal bays on the sides. Anyway I've got the Bellicose but WZ has made it a bit kitbasher-unfriendly, the neck above the saucer is merged with the saucer so if I delete it there'll be a big hole in the top, also a carrier wouldn't really have big guns mounted to the bridge, it's a very purpose built model and would take a bit of replacing components but I'll have a go once I finish reworking it into a Belknap, which is slow going because of other holes in the mesh when I deleted the original neck.

Dawntreader, if you like drone ships what do you think of a drone variant of the Federation? Too much? Too munchkinish?
