Atra has a new ship at his site. It is a damaged version of the TOS Constellation. He has a password that you have to type in to access the files once you download it.

He also released a non damaged version called the Republic. The models are similar, but are slightly different when compared to Constitution-class ships.

why make another constellation since Lord Schtupp have made one?, don't know if it will be bether lloking but why not make one that in not damage?.

I see no problem at all with another Constellation varient! I really enjoy interpretations of any and all models and look forward to seeing more!

Of course, I D/L'd the two Republics and the Constellation but still have had no luck with the Star Blazers Argo, Battlestar Rycon, etc. Seems the files aren't in the download.

You can find her and scrolling down below the two Connies. She's the one with the damage textures. If you don't see her there, try scrolling down the right side. In either case, you'll find her.

I must tell Atra that this passowrd can be easily broken...

I'll think for him better mean of securing files... I know how to brake this password with ease... There was a nice software released a couple of months ago to do so. I know guys this is rude of me as far as I am writing about such tactics. Atra is and was person who has my full respect...

all his ships are Top Shelf to that i agree as for the password for his zips all you have to do is visit his page to get it so no need to crack it

I think it's more of a means to annoy republicans having to type it in if they want his models than actual password protection, as others have said you can gt it just by going to the site no need for cracking programs.

uss constellation constitution class, the ship that battle the planet killer on tos, atra made one and lord Schtupp also, but in Lord Schtupp site i didn't see the constellation but i have it and i can send it to you if you want it.

Well I can crack it myself I said. But I also said trhat I will call Atra or e-mail him to change his way of securing those files. In my opninon he had to have some reason to protect them... I know better ways to protect things...

And I didn't want to crack them. I would never do so because of my respect to Atrahasis

Considering Atra has put the password up in full view on the pages with the ships, i hardly think he is trying to "secure" the files in any way

Actually I think it's more of retaliation against republicans, sort of expressing his pro-Kerry view. I groan at his method, but in the end don't care much of the opinions; Politics isn't really my subject. I still like his work, and think he can be a good guy, but sometimes we all do things others don't like and I understand that.

I come to SFC forums to enjoy the modding community, that's all. So in the end, this shouldn't and doesen't bother me. It's just a few more seconds typing more keys in and a mouse-click or two more to enjoy his models.

Now, about his speculation about the life of the Constitution-class... Well, that's another thing. *shrug* I may be an underdog at discussion about Starships, but I like the subject.

Don.. small correction here.. Atra made one, and I made one based on Lord Schtupp's mesh. That's why you're not finding it on Lord Schtupp's site.. it's on mine.

And I have a second one still in the works.. I just have been sitting on it and a lot of my own projects while I was working on G@W. I just don't have enough hours in the day to do mine, do stuff for G@W, and do all my RL stuff as well.. I short myself far too much on sleep that way.

Fortunately, G@W is almost completed v2.0.. so I'll finish off with that, do some of my own projects, start backconverting G@W's ships back to SFC 2, and SFC 1.. and also get back to my first love.. getting more Babylon 5 ships into the SFC platform.

If you want ot get a hold of of Atra you can at the SFC & ST Community Forums incorporting the Tri Mod shipyard.The link can be found under Watertiger's sig or Chris Jones yeah I know it is along name.That is where Atra can be found as he is moderator for the moddinf forum there and is a model tester.You do need to register.
