Here is a link to the awesome work that Kreeargh did.

http://sfcmodsrus.0catch.com/mirakdl.html

I really like the way he gave a claw-like design to the engines.  It is appropriate for the ship of a 7ft tall feline race.

One thing to remember is that most Kzin ships have a left right and center warp engine.

Any use for captured ships of other races. I just recolored this in 2 seconds. IF your interested I could go a bit further converting it to Mirak.
Other wise I'll just crawl back under my rock. Oh don't read to much into that remark. I am not social today sorry. Just cklick on the bad karma button  hehe  ;D  :drink:

always interested...... ;D

Chuut: have you noticed the stuff at the bottom of this page:
http://www.larryniven.org/kzin/gallery.htm

like:

http://www.larryniven.org/kzin/images/Angels_Pencil_1.jpg
(for reference, all Kzin ships...)

I kind of like the red squid-globe... I think I saw somehwhere else that they are suppoesed to be spherical ships...

Not bad for pre TOS era, kinda like those early fed designs.  However I was looking mostly for TOS era and a bit beyond for use on the Dynaverse 2.

I don't know if I still have it somewhere on some lost CD or Zip disk that I don't have with me (nor can't access if I had it), but I do remember WickedZombie45's early early days as a modder making an early mod (that I had), which was a retexture of the stock Taldren F-CA using stock Mirak/Kzinti textures (esentially like a "captured" or "converted" F-CA... Or to put it even simpler, a Mirak/Kzinti-themed F-CA).  I also remember that I once (and only once) tried to put the textures on the stock F-CA of the Klingon Academy, and it worked!  What didn't work was trying to make it a new ship out of it using missiles in place of Photorps.  Didn't work but I tried.  However it's from the early early SFC2 days!  2000-2001 I think.

The maps are done. I'll hp it as a DN for SFC2. gotta break model also. Should point out this mesh is 8600 poligons hehe. If thats too high I can drop nacels. This is a quad nacel DN carrier. The HYdran version is called the Proctector and I am dubbing the Mirak version Urgency.

I am trying the attacment thingy.
